Failing To Yield In Lakehurst Leads To Drug Arrest

LAKEHURST – A Pennsylvania couple faced multiple drug charges after a motor vehicle stop during the weekend.

Lakehurst Police stopped a vehicle that failed to yield at the Lakehurst Circle on Sunday evening. Police had probable cause to search the occupants and vehicle, and turned up a quantity of methamphetamine, other drugs and paraphernalia.

The driver, Ryan M Mistishen, 25, of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania was charged with possession of methamphetamine and issued additional summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, failure to yield, and delaying traffic.

Bailey E. McFadden, 25, also of New Ringgold, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were processed at Lakehurst Police headquarters and are pending mandatory court appearances at Ocean County Superior Court.

Officer Robert Schroeck was assisted by Sgt. Matthew Kline, Officer Daniel Hourigan, Ocean County Sheriff’s K-9 Officer Kevin Fennessy and his K-9 partner Stosh.
