Man Jumps Out The Window Of A Jersey Shore Motel

SEASIDE HEIGHTS – An out-of-towner vacationing at the Jersey Shore jumped from the window of a motel, landing on the sidewalk below.

Seaside Heights Police say the 21-year-old Dudley, Massachusetts resident took the plunge from the second floor of the Offshore Motel. He landed onto the Dupont Avenue sidewalk around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 7th.

According to Detective Steven Korman, the odor of alcohol was apparent but they didn’t observe any signs of the man being intoxicated.

Korman also says “the said he jumped from the window after a non-confrontational interaction with friends.” 

Police questioned some of the witnesses on scene.

The unidentified man complained of leg pain and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

No word on why he jumped and no word on his condition but he suffered non-life threatening injuries and was responsive when taken by ambulance to the hospital.
