LAKEHURST – Lakehurst Police arrested and charged a Manchester woman with shoplifting from the Dollar General store on Route 70.

Robin L. Sneddon, 55, was confronted by police March 7 after receiving a call from an unidentified source saying a woman was stealing items from the store.

Police interviewed Sneddon, who did admit she took items and put them in her purse. She had already paid for some items, but did intend to leave the store with the stolen items in her purse.

She was processed at the Lakehurst Police station, where it was found she had an active warrant in Manchester. She was released on a summons pending a mandatory court date.

She posted partial bail on the warrant and has a new court date with Manchester Township Municipal Court.
