Jackson Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Missing Endangered Man

JACKSON — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 22-year-old Jackson man who has been reported missing and is considered endangered.

Police said Mortimer Wortman was last seen on November 21 at about 10:30 p.m. near the wooded area off High Bridge Road. He has not been heard from since.

Wortman is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds with light skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has a nose piercing and multiple earrings in both ears. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, a burgundy hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
