TOMS RIVER – What’s being described by police as a civil dispute between family members leads to a man jumping out of a moving car in Toms River, sending him to a trauma center with serious injuries.
Toms River Police Spokesperson Jillian Messina tells Jersey Shore Online that the Saturday night incident is under investigation.
Messina says “it appears that the victim may have been intoxicated and under his own power, jumped out of a moving car to return to the initial location of the disturbance.”
The unidentified man sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
