TOMS RIVER – Jeremy Grunin, president of the Grunin Foundation, has been selected to serve on the New Jersey Governor-elect’s Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force, the organization announced.
The appointment aligns with one of the foundation’s core priorities: advancing regional and statewide advocacy through coalition building to address long-term, systemic issues. Foundation officials said Grunin’s role on the task force will help strengthen efforts to amplify the needs of Monmouth and Ocean counties while contributing to statewide policy discussions.
Grunin will join hundreds of representatives from nonprofits, industry, and community groups who will take part in listening sessions and briefings designed to guide the new administration. Several of the foundation’s nonprofit partners are also participating.
“I am just one voice at the table of over 400, including several of our Monmouth and Ocean County nonprofit partners who are the ones doing the frontline work each day,” Grunin said in a statement. “Together, we can help influence and shape policies and programs that will impact communities across New Jersey. It is an honor to serve alongside these inspiring individuals.”
Grunin, known for championing equity and community collaboration, serves on a number of nonprofit and statewide boards in addition to leading the Toms River–based foundation.
The Grunin Foundation, established in 2013 by Jay and the late Linda Grunin, supports organizations working toward a more equitable and vibrant Central Jersey Shore through funding, capacity building, and advocacy. The foundation has invested more than $58 million in the region to date, with another $12 million committed.
