TOMS RIVER – The three county homeless shelters will open on Wednesday and Thursday night due to the cold weather. They are:
- Riverwood Park Recreation Center, off Whitesville Road, Toms River, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.
- Lakewood Community Center, 20 4th Street, Lakewood, 9 p.m. – 9 a.m.
- Greater Bethel Church of God, 201 Martin Luther King Drive, Lakewood, 8:30 p.m.-8 a.m. on Wednesday night; 7 p.m. – 8 a.m. on Thursday night.
