TOMS RIVER — A holiday-themed comic book expo featuring celebrity guests, vendors, and family activities is coming to the Toms River Elks Lodge on November 16.
The Jersey Shore Comic Book Holiday Extravaganza will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the lodge on Washington Street. Organizers say the event will offer a mix of comics, collectibles, artwork, toys, crafts, and raffles, along with appearances by Sharon Smyth Lentz of Dark Shadows and Glenn Taranto from the new Addams Family series.
The show will also include a holiday photo area, costumed Star Wars characters, and an ugly-sweater contest. Children will find activities ranging from trading card tables to specialty toy vendors offering Lego sets, Funko figures, and other collectibles.
Admission is $5, and children 10 and under can attend for free with a paying adult.
