BARNEGAT – A Barnegat home has been deemed uninhabitable after a car crashed through the garage door and into the electrical system.
The crash happened at the home on Jumping Brook Lane in the Four Seasons at Mirage age-restricted community on Sunday afternoon at around 2:35 p.m.
Barnegat Police Chief Keith Germain said “the car was driven by an 81-year-old woman. She wasn’t harmed but was issued a summons for careless driving.”
Germain confirmed the incident to Jersey Shore Online through Twitter.
No one else was injured in the incident.
