LACEY – A drunk driver caused an accident and fled the scene Sept. 7.
Robert K. Coughran, 53, of Bayville, was driving at the intersection of Route 9 and South Street when he caused an accident and fled the scene at 8:16 p.m.
Police were able to identify him and later arrested and transported him to police headquarters, where he was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to report a traffic accident, leaving the scene of a traffic accident, and following too closely.
