LACEY — A driver was killed Wednesday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Lanoka Harbor, according to police.
Officers with the Lacey Township Police Department responded to the crash near the intersection of Lake Barnegat Drive North and Haines Street on April 8.
Preliminary findings indicate the vehicle veered off the roadway, broke through a fence and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
