LAKEWOOD — A 19-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a school bus while riding a scooter on West County Line Road, township police said.
The collision happened around 8 a.m. on November 30 near the intersection with Hope Chapel Road, according to Lakewood Police Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith.
The woman, whose name was not released, suffered a severe head injury and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment, Staffordsmith said.
Police said the circumstances of the crash are still being investigated.
