Prosecutor: No Foul Play In Lakewood Woman’s Death

  OCEAN COUNTY – Authorities announced that there was no foul play detected in the death of a Lakewood woman that was reported over the weekend.

  The death of 46-year old Lina Stanevicius was reported to Lakewood Police on the morning of Friday, March 29. Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene at an apartment in the township.

  As of March 31, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that a post mortem examination revealed there was no trauma to Stanevicius’ body.

  “We are currently waiting on toxicology results but based on the autopsy that was performed yesterday, we do not suspect any foul play at this time,” Prosecutor Billhimer said.

  The investigation was conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Lakewood Police Department and Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
