TOMS RIVER – Join the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders as they honor former Freeholder and Lakewood Township Mayor Joseph E. Buckelew. The ceremony will take place on June 6 at 4 p.m. at the Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
The freeholders will be honoring Buckelew for his induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame alongside famous names like Albert Einstein, Bruce Springsteen, Buzz Aldrin, Frank Sinatra and Thomas Edison. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame on May 6.
Buckelew is the first former Ocean County Freeholder to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
