Police Believe Woman Jumped To Her Death From Casino Parking Garage

ATLANTIC CITY – The probe into the death of a woman who was found lying in the street outside the Ocean Casino Resort reveals the incident to be an apparent tragic suicide.

Atlantic City Police believe the 29-year-old woman intentionally jumped from the upper level of the casino parking garage.

Police said patrol officers responded to the beach block of New Jersey Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on January 27 for a report of a woman found in the middle of the street. Emergency medial crews also responded.

Police confirmed the woman from Philadelphia, who they have not identified, was not responsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
