“It is also important to remember to do our part to protect our family, friends and community by practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering, washing our hands and staying home when sick,” said Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone.

“The Monmouth County Health Department and Office of Emergency Management have done as tremendous job of establishing the free testing locations and administering more than 4,000 tests since July,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley. “We strongly urge residents who have been exposed to COVID-19, whether symptomatic and asymptomatic, to get tested at any of the testing sites offered throughout the County.”

As of Monday, Nov. 9, the Monmouth County Health Department (MCHD) has administered 4,036 tests, with 112 positive results, as part of the County’s COVID-19 Free Testing Program, which began in July. MCHD is conducting contact tracing for all residents who test positive.
