WARETOWN – An Atlantic County man who formerly lived in Waretown has now been charged with child porn again after previously being charged in 2012.
On November 13, authorities filed an indictment against Stephen Tisch, 36, of Minotola on one count each of possession and distribution of child pornography.
According to authorities, Tisch shared images of child sexual abuse on an online social media forum. Investigators also discovered images depicting the sexual exploitation of children on Tisch’s cellphone.
In 2012, Tisch was suspected of being a part of a child pornography distribution network. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said Tisch’s home was determined to be a “distribution point for the online distribution of pornographic images of children.”
Tisch faces a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, if convicted as a repeat offender of a possession of child pornography charge. Distribution of child pornography can give Tisch an additional 15 to 40 years in prison if convicted.
