VIDEO: Car Bursts In Flames, Driver Revived With Narcan

HOWELL – A Lakehurst man was revived with Narcan after a collision that overturned his vehicle, bursting it into flames, police said.

According to NJ State Police, 29-year old Michael Carr of Lakehurst drove off of the highway on I-195 just prior to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24. He veered off the right side of the road near mile marker 28 in Howell Township, where his car overturned and then burst into flames.

Carr was saved form the fiery crash and administered Narcan, police said. He was later transported to Jersey Shore University Medical for treatment. Police noted that his injuries are not life-threatening.

Carr was later transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
