LAKEHURST – Two men from Lakehurst and Whiting have been charged in connection to a series of smashed side mirrors that occurred on Jan. 27, police said.

James R. Pasqualetto, 21, of Whiting and Joseph J. Mauceri IV, 21, of Lakehurst have been charged with third degree criminal mischief.

On Feb. 3, police posted footage from the incident to social media, requesting assistance from the public to identify the suspects. The footage aided officers in nailing Pasqualetto for the incident.

Both men were processed and charged. Mauceri was issued a summons for the charge and released. Pasqualetto was issued a warrant for the charge and transported to the Ocean County Jail. They both are pending a mandatory court appearance with the Ocean County Superior Court.
