LAKEHURST – A borough man accused of shooting up heroin in the bathroom of a pizzeria is now facing drug charges.
Lakehurst Police said 36-year-old Christopher J. Mahieu also had a warrant out of Hamilton Township in the amount of $550.
Lakehurst Police Officer Robert Schroeck said officers were called to the local pizza shop on Monday, August 5 at around 7:51 p.m. A search of
Mahieu’s person turned up a quantity of suspected heroin and other drug paraphernalia.
Mahieu was placed under arrest and transported to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing.
He is charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mahieu was issued a warrant for the charges and lodged at the Ocean County Jail pending a mandatory court appearance.
