LAKEHURST – A month long drug distribution investigation leads to the arrest of a Lakehurst man on several charges.
Police say 47-year-old Michael S. Ford was taken into custody on Tuesday, April 3rd at his hotel room at the Travel Inn and Suites on Route 70 in the borough.
A search warrant had been executed and in the hotel room, detectives found 45 wax folds of heroin, 79 vials of cocaine, PCP in a plastic bottle and multiple hypodermic needles.
The search was performed by Lakehurst Police along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit.
Ford faces several charges including drug possession and intent to distribute.
He was processed in Lakehurst and sent to the Ocean County Jail where he remains, pending a future court date.
