Firefighters Rescue Cat From Storm Drain

MANCHESTER – Whiting Fire Company Station 33 reported the successful retrieval of a cat caught in a storm drain.

The company was dispatched to Quality Medical Station on Schoolhouse Road. Crews from Rescue 3303 and Engine 3341 retrieved the cat from the storm drain without harm or complication.

“Members from Quality Medical have since taken the cat and is in good hands,” the company reported in a Facebook post. “Great job to all members who were [a part] of this call.”
