Citizen Complaints Led to Numerous Drug Arrests

MANCHESTER – The Manchester Township Police Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 13 people during a drug enforcement campaign. Police had been receiving complaints from residents in three neighborhoods: Surf & Stream Campground, Cedar Glen West and Pine Ridge South.

During a several-week surveillance of those areas, police arrested persons for drug charges or outstanding warrants around the Campground, Mallard Street in Cedar Glen West, and Winding Brook Way in Pine Ridge South.

Those arrested include: Ashton Alexander, 37, of Lakewood; Kimberly Burke, 33, of Jackson; Tiffany Dannecker, 29, of Brick; Aliyah Fonseca, 31, of Manchester; Silvano Francis, 32, of Jackson; Nicholas Jandik, 37, of Manahawkin; Darlene Ott, 49, of Bayville; Lori Simone, 56, of Manchester; and Lindsey Stecz, 29, of Bayville. Police reported that 25 criminal charges were issued, ranging from possession of drug paraphernalia to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Those arrested were released on summonses or posted bail on outstanding warrants.

Police seized 36 grams of crack cocaine (street value $3,300), prescription drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a 2005 Nissan Altima.

The patrol bureau and K-9 unit assisted.
