TRENTON — An Ocean County resident has claimed a $1 million top prize on the New Jersey Lottery’s $1,000,000 Spectacular Scratch-Off, state lottery officials said.
The winning $10 ticket was purchased at Lucky 7 Deli on Route 70 in Lakehurst.
According to officials, it is the first of four top-tier prizes awarded since the newest version of the game launched earlier in November. The ticket was reported sold on November 17.
Lottery officials also announced another big win in the state — a $155,000 top prize from the Emerald 5X game — but that ticket was sold in Hudson County.
