Someone Shot Bullets Into a House In Jackson, Police Investigating

  JACKSON – Police are asking the public for any information they might have regarding a house being shot while the residents were not home.

  A family living on Route 571 (Toms River Road) came home on the night of October 9 to find what appeared to be bullet holes in the house, police said.

  Officers found that the house had been struck by several rounds, one of which hit a couch inside the residence. Fortunately, no one was home and there were no injuries.

  The attack happened between 8 and 8:15 p.m., police said.
