Six Flags Great Adventure To Host Job Fair, Auditions

  OCEAN COUTNY – Six Flags will fill 4,000 positions this spring within their theme park’s 20 different departments.

  Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor will host a job fair and entertainment auditions March 14 from 12 to 6 p.m. which includes on-the-spot interviews and job offers to qualified candidates.

  Six Flags, which was recently named one of the Nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® by The National Association for Business Resources for the fourth year in a row, offers a large range of positions and paid internships. Team members are provided multiple benefits such as advancement opportunities, reward and recognition programs, educational scholarships, free park admission, incentives from area businesses and much more.

  This year, Six Flags will become a Certified Autism Center by providing specialized training to all of its team members to better serve guests on the Autism spectrum. The theme park also celebrates its first full season powered by solar energy as well as the debut of the world’s tallest, fastest and longest single-rail coaster, Jersey Devil Coaster. 

 Available positions include:

  • Operations: Ride Operations, Park Services (grounds keeping), Security, Loss Prevention

  • In-Park Services: Food Service, Retail, Games

  • Guest Experience: Admissions, Guest Relations/VIP Services, Market Research

  • Safari: Tour Guides, CDL Drivers

  • Lifeguards

  • Entertainment/Events: Performers and Technical Support

  • Wardrobe: Seamstresses, Launderers and Clerks

  • Landscaping

  • Finance: Accounting, Cash Control, MIS

  • Corporate Alliance Brand Ambassadors

  • Human Resources

  • Sales Coordinator

  New applicants must visit sixflagsjobs.com to complete an online application. Applicants ages 16 and up can explore a wide variety of job opportunities. A limited number of positions are available for applicants age 14 and 15.

  Interested applicants who cannot attend the job fair can complete all of the necessary paperwork online, and some positions even offer convenient video interviews with the new “green” hiring process.

  Job fair will be held at the Six Flags Great Adventure’s Employment Center which you can access by entering the Employment Entrance approximately one mile west of main park entrance.

  Auditions and open casting call will be beginning at 2 p.m. and will be held at the Showcase Theater.

  Audition Schedule:

  • 2 pm: Costumed characters

  • 2:30 pm: Dancers

  • 3:00 pm: Actors/Super Hero characters

  • 3:30 pm: Specialty acts including stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians, and more.
