Man Admits To Having Meth Lab In His Truck

  JACKSON – A local man pleaded guilty to operating a methamphetamine production facility out of his pick-up truck.

  Michael Canto, 41, was arrested back in July of 2019. Jackson Police had pulled Canto over on his motorcycle and was found to be carrying methamphetamine. The police proceeded to obtain a search warrant for Canto’s truck and found evidence that he was managing a meth lab out of his vehicle.

  Canto pleaded guilty to Maintaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility and faces a possible term of five years in New Jersey State Prison with a two-year period of parole ineligibility.
