JACKSON – The township will lower the American Flag to recognize the loss of United States service men and women who died in Afghanistan.
Mayor Michael Reina has ordered the lowering of the flags to be flown at half-staff at all municipal buildings on September 3, in honor of the 13 fallen US troops.
In addition, the mayor asked that “you join us for a brief moment of silence on Friday, at noon in honor of those troops who lost their lives in Kabul.
