JACKSON POLICE HAVE CAPTURED THE SUSPECT!
JACKSON — Authorities are searching for a man accused of stabbing a woman inside a township apartment late on Thanksgiving night.
Police said officers were called to the Paragon Apartments on Larsen Road around 11:36 p.m. and found a woman on the floor with a serious abdominal wound.
A family member at the scene told officers the attacker was identified as Jaden Thompson.
While officers provided medical aid, additional units searched the building and surrounding area. Investigators later determined Thompson had fled in a black 2012 Nissan Altima with New Jersey plates SUV51A.
Police said Thompson had not been located and is wanted on a first-degree attempted murder charge, along with additional offenses.
