JACKSON – The Ocean County Health Department scheduled a pop-up clinic from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on April 16 at the Jackson Senior Center.

The clinic is open only to Ocean County residents 55 and older. No health insurance is required. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be used.

Supply is limited so registration is necessary. Register by calling the Senior Center at 732-928-2313. If calling after hours, leave a message.

“There are vaccine mega sites throughout Ocean County that I understand have been difficult to schedule an appointment with, so we have been working with the OC Health Department to get vaccines administered closer to home. With the increase in supply we were able to secure a pop-up clinic. As more vaccines become available we hope to work with the Ocean County Health Department to provide another J&J Clinic in town,” stated Mayor Michael Reina.

Those interested in receiving the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or wanting information about other sites, can visit ochd.org or call 732-380-5079.
