BERKELEY – If you’re going to drive a car, you better have a license. That’s what a Berkeley Township woman learned after being pulled over by police. Officers also found drug materials in her vehicle.
Berkeley Township Police said 40-year-old Michelle Della-Pietro was behind the wheel of a Kia Soul when she was pulled over by Patrolman Jacob Camaraza on Sunday, August 25 in the area of Barbados Drive North and Leeward Street.
Della-Pietro told police that she didn’t have a driver license. During an investigation, a hypodermic syringe was found on Della-Pietro along with wax folds used to package heroin.
A check on Della-Pietro showed an active warrant out of Ocean County for a probation violation.
Della-Pietro was arrested on the strength of the arrest warrant and was additionally charged with Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.
Della-Pietro was then issued a summons for Driving While Suspended and lodged at the. Ocean County Jail.
