BAYVILLE – Ocean County seems to be a lucky place to buy a lottery ticket. A Mega Millions ticket purchased in Bayville won $2 million in Tuesday’s drawing, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The ticket matched all five white balls, earning a $1 million prize that doubled thanks to its 2X multiplier.
Country Food Market, 941 Route 9 in Bayville, sold the winning ticket.
Since April 2025, Mega Millions tickets have included a randomly assigned multiplier that can boost nonjackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times.
