Alcohol Given To Minors At Berkeley Trestle: Suspects Await Court Date

BERKELEY – A Lacey Township woman and a Kearny man are accused of providing alcohol to minors out at the railroad trestle in town.

Police Chief Karin DiMichele said the alleged incident happened back on June 14th when officers responded to a call saying that underage drinking was going on.

Police found 33-year-old Nicole R Cappucciana of Lacey and 28-year-old Joseph J. Cappucciana III at the scene, giving drinks to minors. No word on the ages of those participating in the alcohol consumption.

The accused were taken to police headquarters and were charged. They are now awaiting a future court date.

It is also unclear how the Cappucciana’s knew the minors in the incident.
