BERKELEY – This weekend, there will be a car show held on Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Veterans Park. The rain date is Sept. 30.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided by PBA 237, with all proceeds going toward Megan Franzoso, a Berkeley Township EMS member who is on life support after going into cardiac arrest on Sept. 14.

It’s not the only fundraiser going on.

A GoFundMe has raised more than $20,000. It can be found at gofundme.com/megan039s-first-aid.

Another fundraiser on the horizon is a spaghetti dinner on Oct. 21, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., held at the Bayville Fire Company at 445 Atlantic City Boulevard (Route 9). For $15, you get spaghetti, meatballs, Italian bread, salad, dessert, coffee, and tea. Donations will also be accepted. For more information, call Zach Kolas at 908-278-5113.
