NEPTUNE – Police arrested a Neptune man as a suspected heroin dealer on Sept. 22, seizing 775 bags of heroin.
Michael Hall, 49, was arrested on Heck Avenue in the township by the Neptune Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit.
According to police, they seized 775 bags of heroin and $1,413 in cash during the arrest.
Hall is facing charges for heroin distribution; heroin distribution in a school zone; heroin possession over 1/2 ounce; heroin possession over 1/2 ounce with intent to distribute; heroin possession over 1/2 ounce with intent to distribute in a school zone; hollow-point bullet possession; controlled dangerous substance possession; and drug paraphernalia possession.
Hall is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance.
Also arrested in the investigation was 27-year old Elijah Chapmon III of Asbury Park. Chapmon was charged with heroin possession, drug paraphernalia possession, and loitering to purchase narcotics.
Chapmon was released with his summonses, stated police.
