TOMS RIVER – Someone is $65,595 richer.
A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold Feb. 23 at the Wawa on Route 37 West in Toms River. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winner ticket.
The winning numbers were 01, 04, 25, 31, and 36. The XTRA number was 03.
The New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey said 224,834 tickets were purchased for the drawing.
Thirty-two ticket holders correctly matched four numbers, winning $634 each. Three others won $1,902 with the XTRA number.
In addition, 1,291 ticketholders won $15 for matching three numbers, and 312 won $45 for that match plus the XTRA number. And, 3,268 persons won $2 each for matching two numbers and the XTRA number.
