TOMS RIVER – The 30th anniversary of the Vest-A-Cop fundraiser will be another evening of family fun.
The event will be from 4 – 9 p.m. on Monday, September 28. It will be located at the Pizza Hut on Route 37 East in Toms River.
Officers will be serving families pizza, being wait staff for the day. Officers will also be taking turns in the AutoLand Dunk Tank. DJ Mike West will be playing all-ages music. There will also be family-friendly entertainment.
Dining will take place outside under tents and will follow the governor’s guidelines for health and safety.
The fund will go to bulletproof vests for the officers. It is organized by PBA 137.
