ISLAND HEIGHTS – In the early hours of the morning, a detached garage was found engulfed in smoke and flames.
At 2:12 a.m., the Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call about a structure being on fire.
Engine 5311 arrived swiftly to extinguish the fire and shortly after Engine 5301 joined to help.
The fire was restrained to just the garage not damaging any other homes. There were no people or animals harmed in the blaze.
