Authorities are reminding residents to be cautious when receiving calls claiming to be from a bank, even if the number appears legitimate. Anyone unsure about a call should hang up and contact the bank directly using the number on the back of their credit or debit card, or visit a local branch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jesse Robertazzi at 732-349-0150, ext. 1304. Calls will remain confidential.
