TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Regional School District gained $16,000 while Jeremy Grunin lost 20 pounds.
Back in September, Grunin signed on to the Extraordinary Fitness 10-Week Challenge. He would raise money, and the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation would match those donations.
Grunin and his team – Steve Green, Joe Nardini, Joe Palmisano, Dr. Adam Repole and Dr. Ron Rotem – stuck to a healthy eating plan and worked out at Extraordinary Fitness for 10 weeks. The team raised $8,000, which was matched by the foundation.
The Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation presented a $16,000 check to the Toms River Regional School District at Extraordinary Fitness Jan. 28.
