TOMS RIVER – Jeremy Grunin is a very busy man. He’s a business owner, investor, developer, philanthropist and radio talk show host. Now, he’s embarking on a challenge that will help him physically and benefit the students in the Toms River Regional School District.

Grunin will be taking part in the Extraordinary Fitness 10-Week Challenge. The program offers participants the chance to win $10,000 while exercising, eating better and getting in shape. Grunin’s plan is to help raise the money for the school district’s health programs.

Grunin said “I have decided to join forces with Extraordinary Fitness in Toms River to focus on something that is extremely important to the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation – building a healthier community all while supporting education here in Toms River.”

Several community leaders will be taking part including Joe Palmisano, Owner of Four Seasons Diner in Toms River; Steven Green, President of Green Label Title; Dr. Adam Repole, MD of Ocean Gynecologic and Obstetrical Associates; Joe Nardini, Owner of Gilligan & Nardini Electric; and Dr. Ron Rotem, DDS of Rotem Dental Care, with the help of Rudy Rosa, Owner of Extraordinary Fitness.

Grunin, who hosts Bob Levy’s Topic A on WOBM every Sunday, will be working out at least four hours a week and will follow a healthy nutrition program with support from a life coach and nutritionist.

You can help with the challenge by making a donation and all funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $20,000, by the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation.

Grunin added “I look forward to improving my own health and getting the community involved to raise much needed funds for the Toms River Schools.”

The challenge kicks off on Monday, September 10th, 2018.
