TOMS RIVER – The incident is still under investigation so information is slim, but police notified the public that there were reports of shots fired in the Silverton section of town Wednesday night.
There were no reported injuries.
The incident is being investigated by the Toms River Police and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
“This is an active investigation and we will release further details as they become available,” police said.
