TOMS RIVER – A 20-year-old driver was killed in a one-car crash on a Garden State Parkway entrance ramp, according to New Jersey State Police.
Authorities confirmed Giselle Munoz Villar of Toms River was thrown from her Nissan sedan in the crash on the 89A entrance ramp to the northbound lane of the parkway in Lakewood when she lost control of the car.
Police said the vehicle ran off the road and overturned several times. Villar was thrown from the car and died at the scene.
The crash is now under investigation.
