TOMS RIVER — A ticket sold at a Wawa in Toms River is worth $100,000 after Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, state lottery officials said.

The winning September 6th ticket, purchased at the Wawa at 94 Route 70, matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. It was one of six tickets across New Jersey to hit the $100,000 mark.

Two other tickets worth $100,000 were sold in Monmouth County — at a Valero station on Route 9 in Englishtown and Pete’s Deli in Allentown, according to the New Jersey Lottery. In all, 16 tickets purchased in the state were worth at least $50,000.

The biggest Garden State prize went to a Camden County player who won $1 million.

The winning numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61 and 62, with the Powerball 17 and the multiplier 2.

The nearly $1.8 billion jackpot — the second-largest in U.S. lottery history — was split by players in Missouri and Texas.
