TOMS RIVER – Singer Lizzo dropped off a welcome donation of food to Community Medical Center as a token of her appreciation, according to some tweets between her and RWJBarnabas Health.
“Hello Toms River!” was the opening to a short video of Lizzo thanking the staff of the hospital for their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic. As a token of her appreciation, she arranged for food to be delivered.
“We’re praying for you every day. We’re thinking of you every day. We’re socially distancing every day for you guys. And that’s the least we can do for everything you’re doing for us,” she said. “Thank you so much and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. I hope this puts a smile on your face.”
