TOMS RIVER — Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for a program designed to help eligible homeowners complete critical repairs and accessibility upgrades.
The organization’s Home Repair Program provides assistance with projects such as safety-related repairs, wheelchair ramps, ADA modifications and improvements that allow older adults to remain in their homes.
Applicants must own and occupy the home as their primary residence and must have lived there for at least two years. Homeowners must also meet income guidelines, remain current on mortgage payments and maintain insurance on the property.
The program serves residents in Bay Head, Beachwood, Berkeley, Brick, Island Heights, Lakehurst, Lakewood, Lavallette, Manchester, Mantoloking, Ocean Gate, Pine Beach, Plumsted, Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, South Toms River and Toms River.
