TOMS RIVER – A man who tried to elude police was found at a park the next day and arrested.
According to a police report, Peter O’Neill, 53, of Toms River, was driving erratically on Route 37 near Vaughn Avenue on Nov. 11 at about 9:45 p.m. Police tried to pull him over, and he allegedly tried to elude them. Eventually, though, he pulled over and ran.
The next day, he was found and arrested at Riverwood Park. He was charged with Obstruction of Law and Eluding Law Enforcement, and Failure to Stop.
