Cops: Truck Stolen From Tree Cutting Business

TOMS RIVER – Police are still investigating the theft of a truck and trailer from an area business.

TreeMasters LLC owner Kyle Miller that early Oct. 28, a truck and trailer went missing from the rear of his business at 1520 Route 37 West.

The truck’s information is: NJ Reg XDVS29. The 2003 GMC truck, which is green and black in color, with the NJ trailer Reg 72FN, has a yellow Vermeer wood chipper.

“Through surveillance, the truck can be seen parked on the northeast side of the building and at 12:24 a.m., two males are seen walking the property line near Corporate Circle, and one of the suspects can be seen checking the door handles of multiple vehicles on the property,” Toms River Police spokeswoman Jillian Messina told Jersey Shore Online. “At 12:50 a.m., the GMC truck is seen exiting the property heading onto Industrial Way south-bound.”
