Body Found In Wall Was A Toms River Woman

WALL – An autopsy is underway after Wall Township police discovered the lifeless body of a woman wrapped in a tarp Thursday morning.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office confirms the identity as 35-year-old Jami Leis of Toms River. According to the police, there were no visible injuries to Leis and a full investigation is underway.

Several roads in the area of Brighton Avenue and Rockefeller Drive were shut down during the inital call. In addition to local authorites, units from the New Jersey State Police were called to the scene and the state Department of Transportation aided with the road closures.
