TOMS RIVER – Police are on the scene of a bad accident on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 82 and are advising drivers to find an alternate route till further notice.
The Toms River Office of Emergency Management sent out an alert via text and email shortly after 5 p.m stating that the ramp for the Parkway South would be shut down throughout the evening and all drivers should avoid the area.
According to Ocean County Scanner News, poles and wires were taken down in the crash and traffic is snarled throughout the area. Multiple lanes are also closed.
